For Michael — Caterzen

Restaurants whose own homepage currently links to ezCater's Online Ordering checkout. Verified, not just candidates. Each row has a confirmed ezcater.com/brand/pvt/… link sitting in their site's nav or order menu — same pattern as 1492 New World Latin Cuisine, 7th Street Burger, Another Broken Egg.

Cynthia.

The right pain, verified.

EzCater sells two products. Marketplace is the demand engine — restaurants pay commission on orders EzCater sends them, like DoorDash. Online Ordering is the smaller, more painful one — restaurants pay 7% + credit-card processing on every catering order they drive to their own website. Pure software fees on customers they generated.

Caterzen displaces Online Ordering, not Marketplace. So we needed restaurants with the exact pattern you mentioned: a clean "Order Catering" or "Online Ordering" button in their nav that points to ezcater.com/brand/pvt/….

This is that list — each row independently verified by fetching the restaurant's homepage and confirming the live link is there today.

Three filters, applied in order.

01
Pulled every Online Ordering URL the Internet Archive has ever crawled
EzCater marks the /brand/pvt/… pages "noindex" so Google has indexed almost none of them. But the Internet Archive crawls them whenever a restaurant links to one from their own site. One free API call returned 2,918 unique brand-level Online Ordering URLs. That's the candidate pool.
02
Resolved each candidate to a real restaurant website
Ran a Google search per slug ("slug-as-words catering") and grabbed the first non-directory result. This step alone weeded out a third of the candidates — closed restaurants or names too generic to disambiguate. After this we had 835 real restaurant sites to verify.
03
Fetched each homepage and confirmed the live ezCater link
Walked the restaurant's homepage + their /catering and /order subpages, looking for an outbound link to ezcater.com. Scored by whether the link sits in the nav/header (strong), is wrapped with "Order Catering" / "Order Online" text (strong), or just appears in the footer (weak). Only HIGH and MEDIUM tiers made the final list. 160 restaurants passed on the first sweep, plus 46 more on a retry through Apify proxy IPs for sites that wouldn't respond to our scanning server.
04
Tomorrow: retry the 365 unreachables through a different network path
Our scanning server is on Hetzner, which some restaurant hosts intermittently refuse — about 43% of the 835 sites didn't respond on the first pass. Retrying through Apify's residential proxy IPs should recover most of them. Expected to add another 80–200 verified hits for a final universe of ~200–300 confirmed Online Ordering customers.

6 columnsconfidence (HIGH = nav link with strong CTA wording, MEDIUM = nav OR strong CTA, LOW = footer only), slug, restaurant_website, ezcater_oo_url (the actual link found on their page), matched_pages (which subpage had the hit), and restaurant_title.
